Second day, still going.
Admittedly, it could have been touch-and-go. I already knew I’d be working today. I also have a boatload of laundry that has piled up, in part because the limits on my well restrict how much water I can use for such purposes each day. Housework continues to get pushed off to another day. Today, there were at least half a dozen other valid and reasonable demands that could have consumed from one hour to six.
I wrote anyway.
Not as much as yesterday, but I did write.
Thing is, I reached the end of the first section. Two things I know: (a) it’s disproportionately long as compared to the rest of the book; and (b) it was the easy part. I went about ten pages into the second section and decided it was time to get the laundry out of the dryer and make up the bed.
In other words, it doesn’t take much to distract me. Especially when I don’t know what I’m doing.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
